Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Surveyor's Office received an application from, Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, A Utah Corporation Sole, the owner of Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-100-51 for an Irrevocable Offer Of Dedication For Public Service Easement .The offer is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” attached and made a part of the Resolution. This dedication is in relation to the work on the Silver Dove Infrastructure and in support of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication. By utilizing this alternative, the County and/or developers would be unable to meet improvement obligations of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The Department of Transportation has reviewed said offer of dedication and supports the consent to the making of a recordation of said dedication.
CAO RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact or Net County Cost associated with this item.
CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on the Consent To The Making Of An Irrevocable Offer Of Dedication, for A Public Service Easement.
2) The Clerk of the Board will record the above dedication as authorized by the Board of Supervisors with the applicable signed consent attached to the back of the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication document.
3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded document to the Surveyor’s Office.
