Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:
1) Acknowledge and consent to the making of a Grant of Drainage Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 122-470-15; and
2) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to Offer of Dedication for a Grant of Drainage Easement and to record offer with the Consent attached. Authorization for recording said offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND
The Surveyor's Office received an application from Serrano Associates, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company, for a GRANT OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT on Assessor’s Parcel Number 122-470-15, and being more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. This offer is an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) and is to remain in effect and run with the land until such time as the Board of Supervisors makes a finding of necessity for public purposes and accepts said offer by resolution and is in support of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, the County or developers, would be unable to meet improvement obligations on Hawk View Road for the Bass Lake Specific Plan.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
The Department of Transportation has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to the making of this Irrevocable Offer of Dedication.

CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS
1) The Clerk of the Board will obtain the Chair’s signature on one (1) CONSENT TO OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR A GRANT OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT.
2) The Clerk of the Board will record the GRANT with the signed CONSENT attached to the back of the document.
3) The Clerk of the Board will return a copy of the recorded GRANT to Karen Hyder at the Surveyor’s Office.
