DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The El Dorado County/City of Placerville ad hoc advisory committee has been established as is currently being utilized: on an as-needed basis to discuss matters of mutual concern to the City and the County. Supervisor Veerkamp (District III) is already appointed as the City of Placerville sits within the District Three boundaries.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to appoint a second Supervisor to the two-by-two ad hoc committee.
PRIOR BOARD ACTION
On January 5, 2016, Agenda item #15-1350, the Board approved designating the Supervisor who is most closely associated geographically with each City for appointment to these ad hoc committees. The Chief Administrative Officer, or designee, serves as the primary point of contact for government to government relationships.
