Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
No fiscal impact or change to Net County Cost.  All funds will be deposited back to the Treasury into the General Fund.    
 
Background:
On 09/16/06 the Board of Supervisors approved Agenda item #06-1418, item #11, Resolutions   #290-2006, #291-2006, #292-2006, and #293-2006 establishing an imprest cash fund (per Government Code Section 29326) for the Placerville Probation Field Office ($50), Placerville Juvenile Hall ($200), South Lake Tahoe Probation Field Office ($100.00) and the South Lake Tahoe Juvenile Treatment Center ($200); for said funds to be used to purchase services or materials which are legal charge against the County and making change when necessary in carrying out official County duties.  
 
Reason for Recommendation:
Imprest cash funds are no longer necessary as the Probation Department will utilized County Purchasing cards as authorized by County policy for emergency expenditures.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Rescind Resolutions #290-2006, 291-2006, 292-2006, and 293-2006.
