Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No fiscal impact or net county cost.
 
Background: The "Pollock Pines 4th of July Parade" is an annual event sponsored by the Pollock Pines Camino Community Center.  Requested road closures are for the safety of the parade participants, children, volunteers, and spectators along the course.
 
Reason for Recommendation: The Transportation Department is recommending Board approval of the closure to allow for the safety and success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1.      The Board Clerk needs to obtain the Chairman's signature on the Resolution.
2.      The Board Clerk needs to send a fully executed copy of the Resolution to this Department.
3.      The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed on Saturday, July 4, 2009, between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. for the "Pollock Pines 4th of July Parade" activities.
