DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND:
October 5 through November 17, 2018, Big Lots Grand Opening Celebration Charitable Partnership held a promotional event to celebrate their nationwide plans to redesign and remodel all of their stores. The charity partner chosen to be supported during this promotional event was “Meals on Wheels by ACC.”
There are eight Big Lots Stores in this market segment, including one in El Dorado County. The proceeds from the event are being distributed by “Meals on Wheels by ACC” to the Meals on Wheels programs in this area. El Dorado County Senior Nutrition Program is receiving $8,243 to help fund the delivery of meals to seniors in the community.
