DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Upon successful completion of the recruitment and selection process, it is recommended that Ronald Ladage be appointed by the Board of Supervisors as the Director of Child Support Services at step 5 of the salary range, and that his benefits and other compensation be administered per the Salary and Benefits Resolution for Unrepresented Employees.
ALTERNATIVES
If not approved, the County will be required to conduct another recruitment for the position of Director of Child Support Services.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Department is entirely funded by State and Federal funds. The salary cost for the Director of Child Support Services is included in the Department's budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19.
