DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The City of South Lake Tahoe is requesting to acquire two Permanent Multi-Use Path Easements and two Temporary Constructions Easements across portions of County properties identified as APN 025-010-60-100 and 025-010-23-100. The Permanent Multi-Use Path easements will include approximately 18,882 square feet located at the western boarder of the properties, along with frontage on Al Tahoe Boulevard. The Temporary Construction easements will include approximately 7,434 square feet adjacent to the east of the proposed permanent easements. The Temporary Construction easements are proposed to be for a term of eighteen months from the date of the City contractor first entry on the property, completion of the project or December 31, 2022 whichever occurs first, to provide access to install improvements associated with the Multi-Use Path and Transit Pad within the Permanent Easements. The properties will be returned in a reasonably similar condition as they were before. The County has buildings located on both properties.
