For about eighteen months I have been working with a group of citizens to create a community services district in the Diamond Springs/El Dorado area. During that time there were discussions as to how an organization could be formed to provide more formal input on land use planning in the area. We believe an Area Planning Committee or a Design Review Committee could be such a tool. I believe that working with the Development Services Director and County Counsel we can create an appropriate pathway for the citizens of that area to have more input on the land use process.
