Body

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

UCCE in El Dorado County is part of the larger Central Sierra Multi-County Partnership. Through this partnership El Dorado County houses two advisors, three administrative assistants, and multiple program representatives covering 4-H, Nutrition, Master Gardeners, and Master Food preservers.

UCCE programs have recently expanded into the Lake Tahoe basin and see continued growth in that area. In addition, because of the Multi-County Partnership three additional advisors cover El Dorado County. This presentation is meant to introduce the Board to the Master Food Preservers program, and provide information on their accomplishments.
