Clerk of the Board, based upon the recommendation of the El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council, recommending the Board
1) Make the following appointments to the El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council:
a) Appoint Shirleen Hernandez, Community Representative, Term Expiration 6/30/2021
b) Appoint Miracle Luebbers, Parent Representative, Term Expiration 06/30/2021; and
2) Approve the revised Bylaws for the El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council, on the recommendation of the Council.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A Notice of Vacancy was posted on December 18, 2019. On January 9, 2020, the El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council met, discussed and voted on the appointments of Shirleen Hernandez and Miracle Luebbers to the Council. The Council then made a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to move forward with their appointments.
During the January 9, 2020 meeting, the Council updated their bylaws and are requesting that the Board approve the revised bylaws. The major changes to the bylaws include membership application process and the correct term dates. A redline version of the bylaws is attached to show the Board the changes that were made by the Council to their bylaws.
