DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

On May 8, 2018, the Board of Supervisors declared the properties formerly occupied by the District Attorney, located at 515 and 525 Main Street as surplus and directed staff to begin the surplus process.  On February 7, 2020, Facilities mailed out letters to all required government entities per Government Code 54222 with a written offer to sell these surplus properties.  The County received one letter of interest from the City of Placerville.
