DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Supervisorial Districts 3 and 4 have been contacted by constituents that have recently been noticed by Code Enforcement that they are living illegally in an RV located on their private property. Both are tied into a functioning sewer, have power and water. If they are forced to leave this living condition, they will be homeless and either on the streets or living in their vehicles. Supervisors Veerkamp and Parlin would like to explore with the full board, the options we may have to prevent increasing our homeless counts and set a direction for these and future similar situations.
