1) Receive a presentation from Dr. Ed Manansala, Superintendent of Schools, on the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the education system in El Dorado County;
2) Receive an update from County Department Heads on operational impacts to their programs if necessary; and
3) Provide additional direction to staff if needed.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
During the Special Board of Supervisors meeting on June 2, 2020, the Board directed staff to request Dr. Manansala provide an update on the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the education system in El Dorado County.
Once Dr. Manansala completes his presentation, if necessary other County Department heads will have the opportunity to provide the Board with an update on any impacts COVID-19 is having on their programs.
