DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Elections Code Sections 10400 et seq. provides for consolidation of local jurisdiction elections with the Presidential General Election to be conducted by the El Dorado County Registrar of Voters on November 3, 2020.
The Registrar of Voters is the election official for local jurisdictions within the County. The Elections Department can handle the consolidation of the jurisdictions' contest on the Presidential General Election ballot.
