DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

The Two-by-Two  El Dorado County/City of South Lake Tahoe ad hoc advisory committee consists of two members each from the South Lake Tahoe City Council and the Board of Supervisors. The committee meets on an as-needed basis to discuss matters of mutual concern to the City and the County.

 

ALTERNATIVES

The Board could choose not to appoint two new members to the two-by-two ad hoc committee which would result in the discontinuance of the 2x2 meetings with the City of South Lake Tahoe.

 

PRIOR BOARD ACTION

On January 5, 2016, Agenda item #15-1350, the Board approved designating the Supervisor who is most closely associated geographically with each City for appointment to these ad hoc committees. The Chief Administrative Officer, or designee, serves as the primary point of contact for government to government relationships.
