Title: Surveyor's Office recommending the Board: 1) Approve and authorize the Chair to acknowledge an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for a Road Right Of Way, including the underlying fee, and a Public Service Easement subject to the condition that they will not be County maintained unless and until they have been accepted into the County maintained road system by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors; 2) Acknowledge an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for a Road Right Of Way, including the underlying fee, and a Public Service Easement on behalf of those public entities that will provide services, subject to the purveyor’s construction standards; and 3) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to Offer of Dedication and to record the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) with the Consent attached. DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Surveyor's Office received an application from Kelli Griggs and Jeffrey Griggs, wife and husband, as community property with right of survivorship for an IOD (IOD 21-0001) for a Road Right Of Way, including the underlying fee, and a Public Service Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-090-019, and being more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. This dedication would allow for a future road right of way, including the underlying fee, and a public service easement on Assessor's Parcel Number 119-090-019 and satisfy the conditions of approval for the Bell Ranch Subdivision, which requires the construction of a road that crosses a portion of the subject property.

ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept the IOD. By utilizing this alternative, no provision would be made for road right of way, including the underlying fee, and a public service easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-090-019.
