Title
Chief Administrative Office recommending the Board receive presentation of needlepoint artwork of the Great Seal of California from the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Marguerite Parlor No. 12, and authorize Chairman to sign letter acknowledging loaned status of said artwork.
Body
Background: The Native Daughters of the Golden West, Marguerite Parlor #12 would like to loan needlepoint artwork of the Great Seal of California to the County for exhibition to the public.  The artwork was created by Hanna Kane in the early 1900's, who was a resident of Coloma.  Hanna's husband Henry Kane donated the artwork to Marguerite Parlor #12 on May 16, 1943. The artwork is currently on display in the Board of Supervisors' office reception area.

Reason for Recommendation:  The Native Daughters would appreciate acknowledgement of the loaned status of this artwork in the event that they decided to display the piece in an alternative location in the future.
