Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No fiscal impact or net county cost.
 
Background:  The "Georgetown Founder's Day" event is an annual craft, food, parade, and music fair, sponsored by the Georgetown Rotary Club.  Requested road closures are for the safety of the participants, volunteers and spectators during the fair.
 
Reason for Recommendation: Transportation Department is recommending Board approval of the proposed Resolution for the safety and success of this community event.  No involved agencies objected to this closure.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1.      The Board Clerk will obtain the Chairman's signature on the Resolution.
2.      The Board Clerk will send an executed copy of the Resolution to the Department of Transportation.
3.      The roads listed in the Resolution will be closed from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2009 for the "Georgetown Founder's Day" event.
