Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None. The Sheriff's FY2009/10 budget has appropriated funding for this Agreement and will continue to budget for the Agreement through FY14/15.
Background: The Sheriff's high-band radio communications system requires equipment to be located at various sites around the County. Since the installation of the system in the late 1990's, equipment needed to provided communication services in South County has been located on Mr. Garibaldi's property.
Reason for Recommendation: The current Agreement will expire on 11/21/09, and this new Agreement continues the Sheriff's use of the site for another five-year period.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Chairman and the Clerk of the Board will sign the Agreement and Sheriff staff will work with Procurement & Contracts to establish a blanket purchase order for this purpose.
