Title: Supervisor Turnboo recommending the Board discuss the decision of Health & Human Services Agency to not renew the facility use agreement with the Mother Lode Lions Club Facility for the purpose of providing congregate meals as part of the County’s Senior Nutrition program, and consider providing direction to staff to continue the use of this facility and negotiate a new facility use agreement with the Mother Lode Lions Club. FINANCIAL IMPACT

The costs under the current facility use agreement is $2,087/month and Mother Lode Lions Club has agreed to a lower monthly amount totaling $1,800/month with an annual increase.  It should be noted the County pays $525/month for use of the Pollock Pines Community Center congregate meal site and $500/month for utilities in lieu of rent for use of the Greenwood congregate meal site.
