The membership of the Law Library Board of Trustees is established in Business and Professions Code section 6301. That section provides for one Board of Supervisors appointment, which is currently filled. It also provides that the Chair of the Board of Supervisors (Board) is ex officio a Trustee. The Chair may serve as a Trustee or, under subsection 6301(a)(4), the Chair may recommend an appointment to the Board. The appointment would be tied to the term that the Board member is the Chair.
