DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
For the past several years, El Dorado Union High School District (EDUHSD) has contracted with the Sheriff’s Office to provide a law enforcement presence at various school functions including school dances, sporting events, and other various activities that attract a large crowd of people. The presence of law enforcement is to promote public safety, enhance community support and deter any illegal activity all while protecting those in attendance.
EDUHSD will be charged $81.55 per staff hour and a 12% administrative fee for services for the duration of the 2021-22 school year.
