DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Nationally August is recognized as Child Support Awareness Month. The Department submits a proclamation to the Board each year allowing an opportunity for the Board as well as members of the public, to acknowledge the importance of this program in our community.

The Board could choose not to approve the proclamation.
