Probation Department recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign Agreement 5935 with the County of Modoc to place youth of said county in County of El Dorado Juvenile Detention Facility(ies) on a space-available basis at a rate of $125 per day per bed, or a rate of $150 per day per bed if placed within the Juvenile Treatment Center Challenge Program, commencing upon final execution and expiring three years thereafter.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The County of El Dorado (El Dorado) has established Juvenile Detention Facility(ies) (JDF) for the temporary or long-term commitment of youth detained in accordance with the provisions of the California Welfare and Institutions Code.
The County of Modoc Probation Department (Modoc) desires to place youth of its Juvenile Court in an El Dorado JDF, to the extent that accommodations exist. Rates payable to El Dorado are $125 per day per bed or $150 per day per bed for the Juvenile Treatment Center Challenge Program.
