Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  The Sheriff's Department has included funds in their FY 2009/2010 budget. The estimated cost represents leasing the facility for eight months.
 
Background: The Sheriff's have been leasing this space since 1996 to provide a Sheriff's sub-station in the El Dorado Hills area.
 
Reason for Recommendation: Due to the current budget issues the Sheriff's Department has requested that the Department of Transportation, Real Property Unit amend Lease Agreement 123-L0511 to convert to a month to month tenancy effective September 15, 2009, with a thirty (30) day written notification of intent ot vacate premises.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
The Board Clerk will forward to the Department of Transportation, Real Property Unit two fully executed original copies of Lease Agreement 123-L0511 for distribution and administration.
