DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
In September 2021, Director of Planning and Building Tiffany Schmid accepted a new role within the County, effective November 6, 2021. An open, competitive recruitment for a permanent Director is being conducted, but in the meantime the department will need someone in the role to oversee day-to-day operations. Mr. Perry meets the minimum qualifications and is agreeable to stepping into the leadership position on an interim basis.
