Development Services Department recommending the Board make the following appointments to the Building Industry Advisory Committee for terms to expire January 2011:
1) Steven P. Johnson as a Member-at-Large; and
2) Matt Hedges as a Member representing the Sacramento Regional Builders' Exchange.

Building Industry Advisory Committee members receive no compensation.
Background: On February 5, 2008, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 25-2008 establishing the membership and setting forth the responsibilities of the Building Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC). In recent months, two members have left the Committee, leaving the BIAC with two vacancies. Steven P. Johnson, a practicing architect in El Dorado County, has been an At-Large Alternate member since August 2008. Staff recommends his appointment to At-Large Member. Matt Hedges is recommended by the Sacramento Regional Builder's Exchange as their representative to the BIAC. Staff concurs.
Reason for Recommendation: These appointments will fill vacancies in the BIAC.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Upon approval, staff will notify the applicants of the Board's decision.
