County Counsel recommending the Board authorize the Chairman to sign an Amendment to Supplemental Water Acquisition Cost Share Agreement between El Dorado County, El Dorado County Water Agency and El Dorado Irrigation District clarifying that El Dorado Irrigation District is responsible for a large portion of the cost associated with the acquisition of water to utilize the Carryover Storage capacity.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None. The Amendment will have a positive effect by clarifying that EID is responsible for a large portion of the costs associated with the acquisition of water to utilize the Carryover Storage capacity, not EDWPA. The attached memo details the provisions of the amendment and provides some background information.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Copies of the Amendment will be signed by the Chairman of the Board and forwarded to the other parties to the Agreement.
