Background: The County currently has a three-year agreement with AON Consulting to provide employee benefit consulting services.  The current term of Agreement 276-S0711 is November 26, 2006 through November 25, 2009.
 
Reason for Recommendation: The request for the amendment to the term of Agreement 276-S0711 to January 31, 2010, is for the purpose of providing Human Resources - Risk Management with ongoing health benefit consulting while the department completes the current Request for Proposal (RFP) for these services.  The RFP will be completed and the bid awarded, prior to the term end date of January 31, 2010.  The funds budgeted in FY 2009-10 for health benefit consulting will be sufficient for this term extension.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  Human Resources-Risk Management will forward signed amended agreement to Contractor.
