Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The total amount of this incoming funding agreement is $8,000. There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.

Reason for Recommendation:
Black Oak Mine Unified School District (BOMUSD) was awarded an Elementary/Middle School Counseling Grant by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the proposed Agreement, BOMUSD will provide funding to the Mental Health Division (MHD) to enable MHD's participation in quarterly collaborative team meetings to address children's mental health services. The meetings will involve BOMUSD, MHD, and other community partners providing children's mental health services and will address: coordination and collaboration to improve service linkages and increase services for children and families in the community served by BOMUSD; procedure development and training relative to psychiatric emergencies; and collaboration with other contracted partners to improve outreach and identification of children and families who require services. MHD will also conduct quarterly case management meetings with contracted counseling service providers and counselors within BOMUSD.
