DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

On April 13, 2021 (Item 11, Legistar 20-1200), the Board approved the Traffic Signal Warranty and Indemnification Agreement for Post Street and Town Center Boulevard (Agreement), between the County and The Spanos Corporation (Owner).

The improvements for the Traffic Signal at Town Center Boulevard and Post Street in the El Dorado Hills Town Center project have been constructed according to the plans and specifications for this development and per the conditions of the Agreement, and Department of Transportation (Transportation) utility inspection staff has inspected the work and confirms the signal is fully operational.

ALTERNATIVES

None; under the terms of the Agreement, when either the Certificate of Occupancy is issued for the Project, or the County certifies the Signal is fully operational, whichever is later, the County is then obligated to initiate the warranty period.
