Clerk of the Board, based upon the recommendation of the Behavioral Health Director, recommending the Board make the following appointments to the Behavioral Health Commission:
Appoint Lauryn Sumimoto, Commissioner, Term Expiration 4/12/2025;
Appoint Elizabeth DeBenedetto, Commissioner, Term Expiration 4/12/2025; and
Appoint Antoinette Maita, Commissioner, Term Expiration 4/12/2025.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A Notice of Vacancy has been posted since January 7, 2022. The Behavioral Health Commission had a meeting scheduled for March 16, 2022. At this meeting, the Commission intended to vote on recommending the above mentioned appointments to the Board. However, due to not having a quorum the meeting was cancelled. There is no requirement in state law that the Commission make a recommendation for appointment or reappointment. On March 21, 2022, the Director of Behavioral Health submitted a letter requesting the Board confirm the above mentioned appointments.

The Board could decide not to confirm the appointments.
