Chief Administrative Office, Facilities Division, recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to sign Facility Use Agreement (FUA) No. 6560 with the El Dorado Disc Sports Foundation, a California non-profit organization, to allow for the use of the County parking lot at 1360 Johnson Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 95667 for the purpose of allowing participants to park their vehicles during the third and final day (June 19, 2022) of the 2022 King of the Lake Disc Golf tournament to be hosted at the Bjiou Community Park;
2) Make findings pursuant to Government Code 25526.6 that issuance of this Facility Use Agreement is in the public interest; and
3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Facility Use Agreement No. 6560 including amendments contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The El Dorado Sports Disc Foundation is a Non-Profit for Public Benefit Corporation founded in 2017 to grow the sport of disc golf and educate the public on the physical, mental, and social befits that a disc golf course brings to a community. In 2016 the Foundation installed the first 9-hole course in Folsom and since then have offered their time, talent, energy, and passion to help disc clubs, schools, and communities grow the sport of disc golf.
The FUA allows for the use of the parking lot at 1360 Johnson Blvd, South Lake Tahoe on June 19, 2022, during the third day of the 2022 King of the Lake Disc Golf Tournament. There are no costs associated with this agreement.
Further, it is recommended the Board make findings pursuant to Government Code 25526.6 that issuance of this Facility Use Agreement is in the public interest in that the use of this space helps promote the physical, mental, and social benefits of disc golf.
