DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
In compliance with the El Dorado County Boards, Committees and Commission Semi-Annual Reporting Guidelines, First 5 El Dorado Commission is presenting an update for their Strategic Plan. On October 10, 2022, the Commission considered extending their existing Strategic Plan through June 30, 2025. According to the First 5 El Dorado Ordinance Section 8.65.080 (F), “ The proposed Plan, and any subsequent revisions to the Plan, shall be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for review and comment, prior to submission to the State Commission”. This agenda item will satisfy the Semi-Annual Report and Ordinance requirements.
