DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A vacancy was created on December 6, 2022, for the Health and Human Services Agency Director. An open, competitive recruitment for a permanent Director will be conducted, but in the meantime the department will need someone in the role to oversee day-to-day operations. Ms. Byron-Cooper meets the minimum qualifications and is agreeable to stepping into the leadership position on an interim basis.
