DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

An open, competitive recruitment was held to fill the vacant position of Agriculture Commissioner and Sealer of Weights and Measures, yielding LeeAnne Mila as the top candidate.

 

The recommendation is that LeeAnne Mila be appointed to Step 2 of the salary range, as Agriculture Commissioner and Sealer of Weights and Measures, along with benefits and compensation per Section 5 of the Salary and Benefits Resolution for Unrepresented Employees.

 

ALTERNATIVES

If not approved, the Board will be required to consider other candidates or conduct another recruitment for the position of Agriculture Commissioner and Sealer of Weights and Measures.
