DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Jefferson B. Billingsley and Christina Pansini Billingsley, Husband And Wife, As Community Property With Right Of Survivorship, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 119-301-004, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate portions of the side and rear Public Utility easements located on said property. The portions of the easements to be abandoned are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Public Utility easements, as shown on Lot 62 of Cambridge Oaks Unit No. 2, recorded in Book I of Subdivisions at Page 6, were offered to the County of El Dorado by Weyerhaeuser Venture Company & Nevada Corporation, on April 6, 1998. The easements were acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on July 14, 1998, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on July 16, 1998.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
AT&T, Comcast, PG&E and El Dorado Irrigation District have not used said portions of subject easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for said portions of subject easements and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect. County Counsel has approved the resolution template.
