Clerk of the Board, based upon the recommendation of the Director of Environmental Management Department, recommending the Board make the following appointments to the El Dorado Solid Waste Advisory Committee:
1) Appoint Tim Israel, Alternate, Cameron Park CSD, Term Expiration 04/11/2028; and
2) Appoint Jeff Tillman, Alternate, So. Tahoe Refuse, Term Expiration 04/04/2028.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Clerk of the Board received a recommendation from the Director of Environmental Management to appoint Tim Israel and Jeff Tillman to the El Dorado Solid Waste Advisory Committee. The recommendation is now being brought to the Board for approval. A Notice of Vacancy was not posted for these vacancies as the requirements for consideration are specific. According to the bylaws of the Committee, one of the vacancies was to fill an alternate member who represents the Cameron Park Community Services District and the other to fill an alternate member representing a Waste Services Company operating under a franchise within El Dorado County. Both these requirements have been met with the appointments.

The Board could decide not to approve the appointments.
