Elections Department recommending the Board:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign a budget transfer increasing the Department’s Fixed Asset appropriations by $90,599.70 with an offsetting decrease the Election Services appropriation for Fiscal Year 2023-24; and
2) Approve and authorize the addition of two (2) M72 extractors to the Fixed Asset list for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Board Adopted Budget.
FUNDING: 100% Grant Reimbursable.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On April 4, 2023 the Board approved the purchase of two (2) additional M72 extractors and adding them to the FY 2022-23 Fixed Asset list. Due to the move of the Department to a new location, the delivery of the extractors has been postponed until August 2023.
The Department requests authorization to carry over two (2) M72 extractors to the FY 2023-24 Fixed Asset List.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could also choose not to approve to carry over two (2) M72 extractors and cancel the issued purchase orders.
