Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The not-to-exceed amount of this Agreement is $125,000. There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.

Reason for Recommendation: Remi Vista is a Level 12 Group Home, and provides support and supervision 24 hours per day. The funding for residential services is provided under a separate agreement between the vendor and the Department of Human Services. This contract provides for specialty mental health services to youth placed in this facility. Mental health services provided include individual, group, and family psychotherapy, rehabilitation, targeted case management, collateral services, and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS).

Renewal of this contract will allow the continuation of specialty mental health services required for seriously emotionally disturbed youth in the County.

This agreement covers the period March 1, 2010 through February 28, 2011.

In accordance with Board of Supervisor's Policy C-17, the Purchasing Agent has coordinated the outside review of the contractor's qualifications to perform the needed services and concurs that Remi Vista has demonstrated its ability to perform the work.
