Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No change to Net County Cost. Each year, the Elections budget includes funding for ballot printing, estimated at about $100,000 per year.
Background: This contract will replace contract #685-S0911 currently in place. Premier Election Solutions has reduced the cost of their ballots from $.28/ballot to $.21/ballot. The contract will become effective on the date of execution and will continue for a period of three years.
Reason for Recommendation: Premier Election Solutions will guarantee reduced pricing to El Dorado County for a period of three years upon execution of contract.
Action to be taken following Board approval: CAO Procurements and Contracts will issue a blanket purchase order.
