Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The cost of the relocation of the two water meters is based on El Dorado Irrigation District's (EID) time and materials installation rate of $7,150, but this Board action will allow for a $700 contingency to cover any additional costs associated with the relocation. Actual costs will be determined after the work has been completed. All charges above the estimate will be billed to the County. Should actual costs be less than the estimate, a refund will be made to the County. The total not to exceed amount for this application is $7,850. The estimated annualized cost of receiving water is $1,200. Funding for the relocation is from the Missouri Flat Master Circulation and Funding Plan. There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Reason for Recommendation:
An element of the landscape maintenance responsibility requires the County to irrigate the new vegetation to be planted at the interchange. In order to fulfill that requirement, two ¾” water meters are proposed to be relocated by EID in order to establish a consist...
