DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Mitchell J. Frazer and Carina Frazer, Trustees of the Frazer Family Trust Dated February 14, 2012, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 073-351-051, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate the Drainage and Public Utility easement located on said property. The easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Drainage and Public Utility easement, as shown on Lots 1080 and 1081 of Auburn Lake Trails Unit 5, recorded in Book E of Subdivisions at Page 85, was offered to the County of El Dorado by Trans-Land Co. A Co-Partnership by Land Tech Corp, An Ohio Corporation, on February 25th, 1971.The easement was acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on March 18th, 1971 and the Subdivision Map was recorded on April 26, 2000. Said easement is also shown on a Parcel Map, recorded in Book 38, Page 141. Upon recordation of said resolution, the termination of the subject easement will also apply to said Parcel Map.

Department of Transportation, AT&T, Comcast, Georgetown Public Irrigation District and Pacific Gas & Electric have not used said portions of subject easements for the purposes for which they were dedicated and find no present or future need exists for said portions of subject easements and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect.
