DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, the Board directed the Chief Administrative Office to send a letter to Mikey's Kilted Kitchen asking to amend License Agreement #7980 for mobile food and beverage sales at Henningsen Lotus Park and Chili Bar Put In. The Board requested that services at Henningsen Lotus Park be terminated and that the License Agreement be amended to include Chili Bar Put In only.
On Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, the Board directed the Chief Administrative Office to submit an item for the April 02, 2024 board meeting for the Board to discuss additional options related to amending License Agreement #7980.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose to amend the agreement, terminate the agreement, or leave the agreement as is.
PRIOR BOARD ACTION
Legistar 24-0472 - 03/12/2024 Supervisor Parlin recommending the Board make findings that food trucks are not needed nor appropriate at Henningsen Lotus Park and amend Agreement 7980 with Mikey’s Kilted Kitchen to remove the use of Henningsen Lotus Park for mobile food vendor services.
