Title
Chief Administrative Office and County Counsel presenting draft ballot questions relating to the repeal of the County Charter and related measures as directed by the Board on March 15, 2010.
Body
At a special meeting on March 15, 2010 the Board of Supervisors directed staff to explore necessary issues and report back to the Board regarding ballot measures to target the November 2010 election as follows:
 
1.  Repeal the Charter and return to General Law;
 
2.  If the Charter is repealed, retain the 504 as outlined in the Charter; and
 
3.  If the Charter is repealed, retain term limits as outlined in the Charter.
 
County Counsel has drafted the attached ballot questions for the Board's consideration.
