Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The not-to-exceed amount of this Agreement is $720,000. There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.

Compensation for Services: Payments are made to contractor based upon monthly invoicing at specified billing rates for actual services performed and documented per contract requirements. Services and rates are detailed on page 4 of the contract.

Reason for Recommendation: Sierra Child and Family Services has been providing specialty mental health services to County youth for over nine years. Sierra Child and Family Services offers a unique set of clinical services, not all available at the mental health clinics operated by the County Health Services Department's Mental Health Division (MHD). Prior to referral of a youth to Sierra Child and Family Services, MHD assesses the child to determine if specialty mental health services are medically necessary, and in cooperation with the parents or guardians, determines what specific services are required.
