Elections Department recommending the Board declare the results of the official canvass of the May 4, 2010 Mail Ballot Elections conducted by the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters for Emerald Meadows Zone of Benefit No. 98580 and King of the Mountain Road Zone of Benefit No. 98138.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The districts will be billed individual costs for the elections held. The Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters will be reimbursed by said districts.
Reason for Recommendation: The results of the votes cast at the mail ballot elections held May 4, 2010, were certified by the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters on May 5, 2010, and are submitted herewith. Summary of results: Emerald Meadows Zone of Benefit #98580 Measure A did not pass; King of the Mountain Road Zone of Benefit #98138 Measure B did not pass.
Elections Code section 15400 states that the governing Board shall declare the results of each election held under its jurisdiction.
