Reason for Recommendation:
Pursuant to Procurement Policy, Section 4.5, Contract Term, "Department authorization from the Board of Supervisors, initially, and on an annual basis, to utilize any contract that does not have a stated contract term."

This agreement is in place on an as needed basis to provide instructor certification and supplies that may be needed for the in-house training class taught by the certified Deputy Probation Officer for Probation staff.

CPR / First Aid training is required for sworn probation staff on an annual basis by Corrections Standards Authority (CSA) regulations.
