This federally funded grant allocation will cover all costs associated with provision of Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization services and is included in the Department's FY 2010-11 Recommended Budget.

Reason for Recommendation:
Contract 09C-1758 allocates $113,364 for provision of DOE Weatherization services during the period June 30, 2010 through June 30, 2011. CSD has notified the Department of Human Services (DHS) that the maximum average reimbursement of $3,055 per dwelling stated in the contract is incorrect and that the correct maximum average reimbursement is $6,500 per dwelling in accordance with federal program guidance. CSD has advised DHS that a State issued program guidance and contract amendment will be forthcoming to correct this error in the contract.
